Blurb; Continuing on with our theme of Honour, Bev addresses the topic of Honouring Christ within each of our own hearts. She speaks about self-love, honouring God’s word over our lives and our calling, stewarding our atmospheres, living authentically and receiving honour. It all starts with loving our neighbour as we love ourselves.
Jonathan, the eldest son of king Saul and heir to the throne, gave up his position by making way for the call of God on David’s life. He protected and honoured who God had anointed to be king above his own personal interests. Jesus also gave up his throne so that we might be made royal.
In this message Phil and Maria both shared on the power of honour in building community. Phil shared on carrying the Father’s heart for all our brethren. Maria shared on the power we have to build connections in community. Our choices to prioritize, pursue, plan and protect our relationships is entirely our choice and bring great honour and joy in community.
In this second message in Tribe’s series on honour, Rosie talks about the high value God has placed on us walking honour. Unpacking the idea that “A Culture of honor is a fox proof culture”. Rosie looks at different ways walking in honour protects our relationships both with the Lord and those around us.
To see breakthrough in our lives we need to see the one who brings the breakthrough and live a life that seeks to honour Him
Rick Cloherty shares on the power of a 'yes' when we wait on God in His presence.
Serena Gallagher shares about the power of forgiveness to engage with who God is and release who He is on the earth.
Phil is continuing our series on building a presence culture. In this message he looks at the journey from pride to humility. Paul said that there can be no boasting in the presence of the Lord. We are all called to imitate Christ who emptied Himself and humbled Himself to become the servant of all. This message will inspire you and guide you on your spiritual journey.
The full extent of our mission to release His presence in the earth also includes the world wide persecuted church. Currently there are many nations that are on the watchlist for their extreme persecution of believers, North Korea being at the top of the list. This is a very moving and hope building message from James Kozina. Jesus said His burden was easy and His yoke light... Come on the journey and feel His heart for the persecuted ones in the earth. Our response to this message needs to be prayer and staying aware of the needs, but another way to help is to sign up for as little as $12 per month to support the vital ministry of Open Doors. Please visit www.opendoors.org.au to see how you can contribute to helping suffering brothers and sisters in Christ worldwide. A small donation goes a long way!
God longs for us to long for him. He is so completely other and not like us, which is often scary, but he calls and test us to draw near even though we don’t fully understand his Holiness or Magnificence. Will you come to the thunder, the lightening, the trumpet blast and billowing mountain to be present where He is?
The presence of God interrupts the flow of the every day by introducing God’s mind into our thought processes and our culture. We can get swept along with all sorts of thinking but “clocking up” hours of time in God’s presence is a great way to partner with God for greater clarity and for the bigger view (God’s perspective) on all things. This message is Part 2 of our new series on developing a presence culture.
